The First Minister announced on the 29/01/2021 the latest Coronavirus restrictions which sees the tier 4 lockdown continue until at least the next review in three weeks (19/02/2021). There have been two small but important changes to the well-being of everyone.
The two changes and they come into effect from 30/01/2021:
You can now meet up with one person from another household for exercise, but it must start and finish from home.
If circumstances require, you can change your support bubble but must wait 10 days before forming another one. More details below
However, we recognise that people’s relationships and circumstances may change over time. If necessary, from Saturday 30 January, single responsible adult households can form a new support bubble provided that:
both households end their current support bubbles
both households refrain from mixing with any other household (including your new support bubble) for a period of 10 days before forming the new support bubble.
If someone in your previous support bubble develops symptoms or tests positive for coronavirus up to 48 hours after members of the bubble last met, all members of the bubble must self-isolate. You must not form a new bubble until you have completed your self-isolation.
Message from the Chairman Updated 18 December 2020
Hi Guys & Gals
Many of you would have already seen the recent announcement by the Welsh Assembly Government and this obviously means that our club will remain closed until at least the 18th January when the next review takes place. Obviously disappointing news for us all but my thoughts are it may be worth sacrificing one Christmas and New Year celebration to give us all a better chance of enjoying many more in years to come. A full report of the situation is given in this link by our Covid compliance officer, Adam King, and I am extremely grateful for Adam's assistance in helping to keep us all safe in these difficult circumstances.
As always, if anyone gets into any difficulty at all, please shout out and I will try my level best to help you out. There are a number of members who are willing to help if the need arises.
Finally, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and hopefully a better New Year in 2021 for us all.
