A super eight match at Ferndale was a tough start to the week but the guys put up a good fight before losing 42-28. Another good fighting performance on Wednesday saw our west Mon team maintain their 100% record and stay top of the table after beating second place Blaina 10-4.
Thursday saw the ladies win at Troedyrhiw 8-2 with some very good performances.
Friday the mixed team continued their recent good form beating Barry Athletic 4-1 at home.
Saturday a hastily rearranged fixture against a good Gilfach side saw our PG team record another win 12-2. Our MBA team had some good performances but found Blaina on their own green a tough ask and lost 14-0.
All in all another good week for the club, keep it going guys and gals, “UP THE FORT”.
