Apologies for being a bit late this week, the ladies started the week well winning 6-4 at Merthyr West End but then suffered two 8-2 defeats, firstly ay Guest Memorial and then at home to Merthyr. They are sitting third in the afternoon league and seventh in the evening league.
Our West Mon team continued their one hundred percent season beating local rivals RTB 11-3 and sit proudly at the top of the table.
Friday saw the mixed team record a very good 4.5-0.5 win at Abergavenny to secure a semi final spot, well done everyone.
A mixed Saturday with the MBA team recording an excellent 14-0 win over Abertillery, this puts us back in touching distance of the other clubs and a few more performances like that could see us escape relegation. The GBL team lost 10-0 at Blackwood, a difficult green to play on but still had a go and only lost by 10 shots over all.
